How a R1,700 test unlocked digital efficiency for EAD Skincare.

The Reach Revolution
By removing the physical requirement of a storefront handout, we expanded the campaign's potential from a local store footprint to a national digital audience instantly.
1
The History Who
EAD Skincare had a strong social presence but hit a growth ceiling at ~1,500 new followers a month. Standard tactics had run their course.
2
The Lesson Why
Targeting and influencer formats were exhausted. Growth didn't change in a meaningful way until AI-driven creative variation was introduced.
3
The Reach Win
By testing Meta Advantage+ Creative on a single campaign, we used AI to break the ceiling using the exact same cold audience.

The Projects Blueprint
EAD Skincare possessed a highly stable account and a well-established social presence, but organic and paid follower growth had flatlined at approximately 1,500 new followers per month.
The Client
Every traditional optimisation lever had already been pulled: target audiences had been aggressively pushed, creative formats were constantly rotated, and fresh influencer content had been introduced. Despite these efforts, nothing shifted the needle in a meaningful way. The account wasn't failing it was just stuck.
Our Role
Tomorrow Labs acted as the strategic implementation partner. Our role was to break the growth stagnation by designing a controlled, low-risk experiment utilizing Meta’s Advantage+ Creative AI suite. We managed the technical deployment, set up the clean asset baselines, and meticulously handled the quality control filtering out AI-generated visual distortions to ensure only high-performing, brand-accurate variations went live.
The Strategic Pivot
The Challenge
Growth had flattened. Targeting had been pushed, formats rotated, and influencer content introduced. None of it changed the outcome. The account was stable, just not progressing.
The Action
Meta’s AI image enhancement tool was tested within a single Page Follower campaign using a R1,700 spend. From a clean tissue oil product shot, Meta generated 20 variations. We filtered out distortions, leaving 12 usable versions to run alongside the original asset.
The Road Ahead
Creative variation is no longer limited by production capacity. Tools like this allow smaller teams to test multiple directions quickly without full creative rollouts. The future relies on high-quality inputs—clean, product-led visuals scale best.

Kyla Van Der Merwe
Head of Paid Media
EAD came to Tomorrow Labs after losing their existing social media accounts, so growth here started from zero. This has been a sustained rebuild, not a once-off spike.
Kyla tends to be cautious with AI in creative, but this test proved its value in the right conditions. It’s a practical example of knowing when to test something new and when to trust the result.
